Current Events
One Day Women’s Retreat:
Women and girls in Putnam County are invited to a One Day Women’s Retreat at Greencastle Christian Church on August 23, from 9:00-2:30 pm. Our guest speaker and singer is Joani Tabor and “Nothing’s Gonna Steal My Joy!” is her motto. Joani has a bubbling personality and conveys her enthusiastic faith in musical concerts and as a women’s speaker. Joani is capable of singing almost as many different musical styles as are in existence. As a speaker Joani talks about the darkest period of her life with a message of hope and the gift of laughter. She has the rare ability to apply Biblical insights into negative life experiences with incisive wit and irony.
The cost for this event is $30 at the door or $25 if pre-registered and includes lunch. Girls from 13-18 may attend free with a mom or friend. Any woman who signs up five paying friends can come for free also!
